A Message to Students March 2020

It is mid March and we have started week two of being at home taking care of our families and making sure we don't get sick with COVID-19. First of all let me me offer you a word of encouragement: This too shall pass. This is a time of reflection and appreciation for the simple things in life. This is a time to focus in what really matters and realize that people is what matter. When our lives are reduced to having shelter and food, we can see how the best of our humanity can shine. My prayer for all of you is that you take the time to slow down, catch up your breath, and make the best out of this situation.

I don't know if you are like me, but if you are, you might be getting bored at home after waking up late, preparing some meals, spending some time on social media or binge watching your favorite programs. I need human connection and I need to know I am doing something productive. I checked out Duolingo and started a French program. It was so engaging and fun. I have created Duolingo classes for you to practice Spanish to continue the learning process. Try it out. You won't regret it.
